Ladies with skimpy eyelashes....excellent mascara!

I have pretty pathetic eyelashes, thin and sparse. I tried Maybelline XXL Volume + Length microfiber mascara and it is great! First you apply a coat of almost transparent microfibers and then the regular mascara (one tube, two ends). Not gloppy, comes off clean and I actually look like I have eyelashes!

I think it was about $8.00 at Walgreens, less than "fancy" brands and well worth it.

Well, I tried it, but while it did thicken my lashes, I had a hard time covering up the white microfiber part. It seemed no matter what I did, I had white spots on my lashes.

Me and both of my daughters use it and it is great!!! My girls are always getting compliments on their eyes!

How thick was the microfiber layer? The first time I tried it, it was too thick. Now I make sure to wipe the brush off a bunch and then put it on and it works really well.

Is it waterproof? I may have to try it if it is!

There are two versions, waterproof and regular. I use the regular because my eyes are sensitive and it is hard to get waterproof off sometimes. The regular comes off very easliy, no fibers left to get in your eye.

I love this stuff! It really does make your lashes long and thick! I swear by it.

I was just looking for a new mascara so maybe I'll try this one. Waterproof is not my favorite so I wear regular mascara usually. Does this one "smudge" any? It's so hard to find something that doesn't leave me looking like a racoon by the end of the day.

I have not had any smudge issues and I have been using this mascara for at least six months (not the same tube, lol).

Call the Maybelline customer service number. I love Revlon's Colorstay eyeliner since it really stays in place all day without smudging or disappearing. So I tried 2 different Colorstay mascaras thinking they'd work the same. One smudged & the other flaked. So I called up Revlon's 800 customer service number. They sent me 2 coupons to replace the mascaras with the eyeliner for free.

Nope, I have never found it gloppy. I love the stuff. And while it wipes off easily when washing your face, I have found out it also holds up to crying.
