You can also pay $39 a month and not have the year contract. Good idea if you just want to try it out. The $29 per month has to be direct debited.

We're having a problem at our local Curves. It opened last July and is up to over 900 members! I haven't ran into a problem because I go around 5:30pm but I heard the other night around 7:00 there was a half hour wait to start! We have 12 machines. The owner just extended the hours to 6:30am to 8:00pm, it was 7:00 to 12:00 and 3:00 to 8:00. Many people are getting upset at the waits, meanwhile the owner continues to sign up more women!

I joined curves in may of 2003.I had never been to any type
of gym but i needed to make changes in my life. So i made an app.
The hardest thing i ever had to do was walk through the doors
once i did i wanted to leave. As i headed back for the door and grabbed the handle i stopped and that voice inside my head said you will be the biggest loser if you walk out the door.I stayed i joined for the year,i felt stupid on the block the first few days but i realized we are all here for the same reason.from may to july i lost 23 inches and 25 pounds i go 4 to 5 times a week.What has made curves work for me is not the machines,it is the friends that i have made (i have a way of making friends anywhere i go)
these are the best people. we have contests, funny hat day,pj day we laugh together, we band together when someone is sick.I just cant tell you what a wonderful place i have found. there is no judgement on being fat ,thin walking on the blocks,dancing on the blocks it doesnt matter.I look forward to going to work out because of the wonderful friends i have waiting for me every morning.
