I've been using Mary Kay since I was 18. I don't know if "it" makes me look younger or if it's just good genes. But I turn 32 in a few months and I get carded 90% of the time, even had a girl (much younger than me) think I had a fake i.d. when I bought some wine the other day, but I'm not complaining.
Sherry
I also use Philosophy normally but recently was intrigued by the new Bath and Body Works Line of skin care and I'm trying that. I really like it - can't think of the name but my line is "rice" for normal skin and it really has made my face quite soft and I can tell a difference. I love the pumpkin mask that comes in that line as well.
I have the 'Hope in a Jar' products that my daughter bought me for Mothers Day. I guessed she thinks I am looking old by the title? But I also love Clarins skin care products..
Originally posted by Teris I still love my Hope in a Jar, and just got 'When Hope is not enough'. I used to work for them, so I really love their ethos in what they represent. I love trying new lines tho, but always go back to Philosophy
Thanks Teris. I love Sephora. I miss not having one here in Arkansas - I used to live in Calif. I go to Sephora whenever I am in a city that has one.
The first time I tried Hope in a Jar I did not like it - I didn't like the smell but then I decided that it really did a good job - now I guess I'm just used to it as the scent doesn't bother me at all. I have a lot of their stuff - nice to hear someone who worked from them say nice things about their ethos. That has more credibiity than just hearing it in the stores.
Funny story - I was at a party today and one of the women looked great. She sells Avon and I thought she was going to be plugging one of her new products. The bags under her eyes (she's 62) were gone. She told us that she is using Preparation H!!! The hemorrhoid cream. Don't know if I am that brave but it worked on her!
Originally posted by Dee & Greg But it's tough to find... only at Sak's and Nordstroms. It has no fragrance and was developed by a pharmacist in the 1850's in NY. Great for dry skin.
I love the Kiehl's lip balm in a tube. I bought it at Neiman's in the San Fran. and Palo Alto stores. The last time I bought about 5 tubes - so I would always have one handy. They were for sale in the men's department by the ties. Strange.
But I also like Philosphy's Kiss Me just as well - the peppermint one is so tingly. It does have a teeny, teeny bit of color to it so I don't think they would be selling it in the men's department.

Actually, that doesn't surprise me!...Preparation H constricts the vessels...thus eliminating redness and puffiness!
I use Borgese Cleanser and Fango, and recently have been undergoing Micro-dermabrasion facial at a Spa! You get these facials every 4-6 weeks...6 total! I see an amazing difference in my skin in tightness and scar reduction! Anyone else have these done?
