I have a few:

First of all, I love my retinol cream. Right now I'm using Lancome, but only because I received it in a free gift. I've found that drugstore brands work just as well. I've always been skeptical of all these 'younger-looking skin' claims but I have to tell you: this stuff REALLY works!

Also, I've recently started using an eyeshadow foundation. That is the type of thing I'd normally never buy, thinking it was just another lame attempt by Lancome to get me to part with my money. But I tried it on the advice of a consultant whose eye make-up I admired and I can't believe the difference it makes. No more eyeshadow flying all over the place when I apply it and it gives my eyes a smooth and finished look.

So - what are your favorite products? And BTW, has anyone tried that new Olay cream? I can't remember the name of it, but it sounds very similar to their retinol cream 'Total Effects', and I'm wondering what the difference is.

I have to say Oil of Olay... an oldie but a goody. I only started using it last year, but I can tell you it sure seemed to do a lot for my mom. I'll never forget a nurse saying to my mom "What do you use on your skin? It's beautiful, you don't look your age at all" and this was after NINE WEEKS in the hospital after an aortic dissection, a collapsed lung and other complications...and after FOUR years on dialysis. Even in the hosp. she made sure she had her Oil of Olay.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer.

I put it on twice a day, and my facial skin is still very young looking. I think any moisturizer that's put on often enough will help, but I truly love this product for how good it's been to me.

I like Jane Iredale makeup. Its made entirely of crushed minerals and pigments. Its great for skin, especially if you have had any treatments such as chemical peels or micro dermabrasion. It also covers rosacea and acne. You cannot get bacteria in it, they all contain sunscreen. Its great!

:crazy2:

sorry - but this stuff is CRAP on me! It was fine in my teens/early 20's...but then I started to break out REALLY BAD from this 3 years ago. (I keep a small bottle of this in my desk at work for those days when I'm really dry - ie, wind or sun burnt!)

So then I started hunting for a new lotion, I like the Olay Regenerist perfecting cream(but it's pretty $$$)...then Eucerine (LOVE the night cream) but it's a bit "heavy" for summer...then Dove. PERFECT. Very affordable (around $5/6 at Wal-Mart/Target) and they make a sensitive skin kind. I use the day and night cream...knock on wood - no breakouts (except for the occasional) and smooth skin.

other "basic" stuff that I use everyday - Vaseline. as a lip moisturizer, keeping the "baby hairs" from flying away, even putting some on bare eyelids for a little 'glow' on minimal makeup days. (looks great OVER eyeshadow as well!)

Anything by Kiss my Face. They make great products. The Kiss guys started out making a good quality olive oil soap many years ago and have really worked hard at expanding their product line with excellent products.

Kiss My Face products are available at most Whole Foods and at other drug and grocery stores.

Cosmetic surgery. No sagging jowls, no double chin, eyelids that show, all but one crease in the forehead gone.

I have never found anything that worked on fine lines, wrinkles, etc, except cosmetic surgery.

I have never found any cosmetic that works all that great. But I keep trying.:p

Lip venom rocks! I got a sample of it a few weeks ago and it really works. I'm going to buy a full size one this weekend.

I also like Nars blush in Orgasm. I find it really flatering.
