How often do you shave your legs?

I overheard something the other day that got me thinking. (uh oh.) If the temperature is over 45 degrees, I wear a dress or a skirt. I really dislike wearing dress pants and never wear them unless it's too cold.

I was at a conference the other day and I was wearing a skirt that I always get tons of compliments on. I was walking past three ladies I didn't know and I heard them talking about my skirt. One woman said, "Well, yeah, it's pretty but then I'd have to shave my legs." The other women all agreed that they didn't want to do that. :teeth:

I shave my legs in the shower every day. Even in the winter if I'm just wearing pants. I don't know--it makes me feel prettier than if my legs are all stubbly. :teeth: Plus, I have dark hair so any little bit shows up immediately on my light colored skin.

How about you?

I shave everyday b/c I love silky smooth legs.

I don't generally shave in the winter unless I have to wear a dress for some reason. Occasionally I do just so that I won't grow a forest, but I don't on a regular basis. In the summer when I'm wearing shorts I shave, but not every day. Thankfully I have fairly light hair, so can get by with every other day or so.

Believe it or not I have NEVER had to shave my legs. Even though I'm a pretty hirsute person everywhere else I've never had visible hair on my legs and if there is any there it totally matches my skin. I remember my Mom telling me NOT to do it because it will grow so I never did and it never showed up!

I wax.

So, so much better than shaving. The hair on my legs is now so light and faint I can go about 2 months before I get peach fuzz.

And I used to have *very* hairy legs.

No more killer stubble.

It depends if I'm between deployments or not :lmao: If I'm sleeping alone in the winter then that's all I have to keep me warm. In the summer I probably shave 2x a week whether alone or not.

Yep, count me in on everyday ;) I can't stand the thought of hopping into bed at night with picky legs :sad2:

Very rarely. It just doesn't grow. :confused3

My arms are hairless, too. :)

I have a head of long hair though.....I guess it was all redirected there.

I shave about every other day- sometimes I'll do two days in a row if I feel like it.

I can't STAND to go more than a few days. I've even had to get up after going to bed just to shave my legs because I can't stand the itchiness of having stubble. :rotfl:

I have never understood people who go weeks in the winter without shaving their legs. I could NEVER do it!

I shave about twice a week in the winter, and every other day in the summer. My stubble doesn't really start to show up until day 3.

Honestly, the longer I can go without shaving, the better. While I like smooth legs, shaving so irritates my skin, especially in the winter, that I put it off as much as possible.

And it's funny because while the shaving irritates my skin and makes me itchy, the stubble doesn't.

And I can't shave everyday because my skin gets too dry, so I'd never shave everyday anyway. In the summer, I try to shave everytime I take a shower, so every other day, but in the winter, I'll go months.

My mom was the same way. I dislike you both! :rotfl2:

I have to shave daily too and it sucks!

Don't take this the wrong way, Robinrs, because I usually really like you but...I am really jealous of you!

Every day starting in Spring...maybe every other day in Winter...can't go too long. Amy, as you know, I'm light skinned and dark hair like you, yuck, don't want too much stubble....eww... ;)

I know what you mean, MM! Not very appealing, is it? :rotfl2:

I shave every day. I cannot stand even the littlest hint of stubble.

When I'm not pregnant I try to shave every couple days in the winter and every day in the summer. Now that I'm so close to my due date, I'm really trying to shave every day, just in case I end up in labor. I couldn't bear to have stubbly legs in the hospital! And I did already pack a razor & shaving cream to bring with me :) But it's kind of nice being pregnant, my hair doesn't grow nearly as fast.

If my legs will be showing, I shave everyday. In the winter, I usually shave 2-3 times a week. I have a very light complexion and very dark body hair. Even right after I shave you can still kinda see the hair under the skin.

My mom does not shave all winter, and if you get a peek of her ankles, ACK!

I don't unless I have to. I wear pants all the time, even in the summer unless it's 90 or higher. I don't see the point if no one is going to see them, and DH doesn't care if I do or not! :)
