Ladies, Spa help, please!

The "Girls" & I are going to a fancy,smacy spa to celebrate a "big" birthday. I just don't know what treatments to choose.... I think I'll stay away from mani/pedi's because I get them all the time. They list a lot of body wraps/scrubs & massage type treatments. Anybody have any experience with them?

They also have an astrologer to do Astrology/Tarot Card Readings. (JUST FOR FUN, 'kay! I'm not a "believer" in that stuff.) It sounds like it might be fun. Anyone ever had this done?

A hot stone massage is pure bliss.

I'm also a big fan of a scrub followed by a cocooning and then a moisturizer application that ai get at a spa I like.

Of course a facial is always nice too!

I'm a big massage/body wrap person myself. We leave for vacation next week and I'm getting a 90 minute massage and 90 minute wrap (body butter applied with hot stones ).

I might do a mani/pedi if it was something "more" like a hot stone pedicure or a peppermint pedicure.... something more then the norm.

Tarot cards sound like fun too!!!

The best spa treatment I ever had was a body wrap of some kind (the wrap did nothing for me) but it came with a scalp massage. It was a pressure point massage that was pure heaven!!!! I also like facials. I am not a fan of the hot stones because they are usually too hot for me but I don't like water that is too hot either, most hot tubs are too hot for me. A basic full body massage is always a good one too. I know a lot of women don't like men doing their massages but in my experience they are usually better massages, stronger muscles.

I like the body wraps as well. After I'm all wrapped up and they turn the lights down low - it's like sensory-deprivation - very nice for a mom with two little kids!
