Ladies, some make-up advice please

I forgot about nail polish. Personally using a better nail polish will make it last longer IMO. I always have my toes done and I use OPI colors. I also use a top coat. It lasts about 3 weeks before I see any wear. On my hands it lasts a full week (I am hard on fingers).

I agree on the LashBlast. You may be disgusted to find out what I think is one of it's best features - sometimes it lasts so well you can skip a day. That's right ladies, I shower and then sleep with it on , and it doesn't smudge or smear on my pillow. Is that trashy or what?

I sleep in mascara often.

It never occurred to me to buy different brands for different "looks". That's actually a really good idea.

I can't believe you didn't ask me, first.

Now when I can afford it, I always buy Lancome, love it, but I don't get it very often.

I read some good things about Lancome, but I really shouldn't spend that much.

Using these products has eliminated my desire to get my nails done at the salon. It's much cheaper and more fun at home.

Thank you for all the nail tips! I'll see what I can find and give it a try. I have 3 daughters so I'm sure we can have salon days or something here at home.

Not trashy. Impressive. I hate reapplying make-up each day. It gets so tedious sometimes.









Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. I have made a list and am off to Target today to check out some of these brands. I think I'll get a few of them and see which ones I like.
Of course, I'm sure I'll end up with other things too 'cause goodness knows I cannot walk out of Target with just one thing. It's simply not possible.

Not a bit. It REALLY stays in place, so it doesn't bother my eyes at all.

BUT the best "expensive" Mascara IMHO is Bad Girl lash from benefit. It's $18 about double the size. I would recommend it to anyone.

Keep in mind you really do get what you pay for when it comes to makeup. Also try Sephora. You can test products out and even return them if you don't like them. You get free items too.

Well, I got the L'oreal Double Extend, the Maybelline Great Lash and something that said it was new, the Maybelline Lash Stileto.
Walgreens had their Maybelline make-up BOGOF.

Thanks again for all the advice. I'm sure one of these will become my new favorite and make me totally beautiful.

Well, ok, maybe that's asking too much from a mascara but one can hope!
