Ladies, shoe question.....

How far into fall/winter is it ok to wear a strappy sandal with jeans. I have these two really cute short sleeved, silky/satiny tops that go great with dark jeans and my black leather sandals. It's something that I would wear out to dinner, so nicer casual. Assumming it's not freezing out, how long can I get away with wearing strappy sandals. I see the stars wearing them all the time, but I don't live in California.

This isn't the exact shoe, but it's along the same lines.

My answer is "whenever you want to". Do we still follow seasons when dressing? If it comfortable and not too cold, you should go for it.

I live in FL, so I'm probably not the best one to give advice like this, but I say wear them for as long as you're comfortable in them. Which, here in FL, could be for most of the year.

We live in Western PA - home of snow and ice and my college DD wears high heels/sandals year round! And no panty hose to boot!

Two years ago on Christmas Eve I looked at her at the Church service - miniskirt, bare legs, and 5 inch sandals! Did I mention that we had at least 6 inches on snow on the ground?

I am all about the strappy high heel shoe. As to whether that is a fashion no no - I don't care. Wear them!!!!!

I also love the strappy high heel shoe and I have 3 pairs that I love. They show little strappy dresses for the fall & winter so why not the shoes!

When I lived in CA I wore open toed shoes all year long. As long as it wasn't raining. Now being in New England, Columbus Weekend is the definite cut off date-and that's pushing it. I love seeing all the out of state students going to school wearing flip-flops in 20 degree weather.
The shoes are gorgeous, as long as your piggies look good, wear on.
