I went to the post office & picked up a nice size box for my priority mail. Since Beth mentioned that there are some new exchangers involved, you can go to your post office & get free priority mail boxes. If you use them, you have to send the stuff Priority Mail, but that isn't horribly expensive. And we usually get delivery confirmation too. It's worth the extra money for the peace of mind.

And if you don't mind a practical suggestion for the exchange stuff, but how about some moleskin? So much better than a band aid if you get a blister.

Great idea!!
I sent out postcards on my last trip to DL in June and I had to make sure I bought postcard stamps before I left.

I bet people will want to send postcards home to the kiddos or their DH.

I am going to Hallmark before I leave and getting some cards to leave here for the kids and DH to open from me on different days while I am gone. So maybe a Hallmark cert. (well, I'd use it anyways....lol)

I love all of the suggestions so far. While I was doing some shopping I found a couple more

They make travel size shout wipes, downey wrinkle release, first aid kits, and OFF.

Oh and another idea I found at the Dollar Tree a draw string laundry bag.

I was going to post about the Shout wipes, because I bought myself some. I keep them in my desk drawer. They are amazing.

travel size aspirin
keychain or something related that attaches to the your suitcase
so you can regonize it in the baggage claim/ME
little fans

Those are very good.
I know I will be bringing all kinds of travel meds, everything from Airborne to Tylenol to stuff for stomache ache for all those meals we have planned!!!

And I always try to tie or somehow attach something to my suitcase so it is easier to spot.

BTW, we are up to 14 now!!!!! And I am waiting to hear from someone who said they were joining but then didn't send me a PM yet.....(coughDenisecough).

I am sorry you are going to miss this exchange Debbie. We will do more though. Probably the next one will start in Nov for the Christmas Stocking one.

UPDATE: We were doing good with the sign-ups but they have really slowed down now, so I am going to close the sign-ups sometime around noon tomorrow (the 20th) and start sending out names tomorrow evening and Monday a.m.
