Ladies...need makeup advice...Mineral makeup?

I have been using the new Neutrogena mineral makeup and mostly like it.
I have been wanting to try the Bare Minerals line or the Sheer Cover line.

Does anyone use these? Anyone tried the Neutrogena? One thing I have found with the Neutrogena is that it is very slightly shimmery. I don't know if I like that in my foundation.

Please share your experiences. What are the other Mineral Makeup lines like?

I just started using Everyday Minerals and like the light feeling of it. I'm still in the experimenting stage and have to get the right brushes for concealing and eye shadow.

I use Sheer Cover and I love it! It is very light and not shimmery at all, and it is very easy to use. I think that the shades are very easy to customize to your own skin color. I know a lot of people love the Bare Minerals as well, but I have never tried that, as I love Sheer Cover. Some people don't like the fact that you have to join a club when you order Sheer Cover and it is automatically delivered to you every 3 months, but I love it and I need a new supply every 3 months anyway!

Bare Minerals is also slightly shimmery. I do like that though. From what I've read here, if you don't like the shimmer you should try Sheer Cover. It has more of a matte finish. There are a lot of women here who use mineral makeup--mostly Bare Minerals. Do a search and you'll come up with a lot of threads.

I just got the Bare Escentuals (not sure if I spelled that right) and I love it!! It covers so nicely and you can really feel it on your face! I purchased it from Sephora.

HA! I use BOTH Bare Escentuals and Sheer Cover. Don't ask.

I like them both. Sheer Cover is more "matte". I like their foundations colors better (for me). But I like Bare Escentual's Mineral Veil better than the Sheer Cover Mineral Veil. The difference is minimal though and I would be perfectly happy using Sheer Cover totally. I also like that Sheer Cover still recommends using a cream concealer. Their concealer works well on me. It is nice and creamy and blends in well. Bare Escentuals uses one of their powders/minerals as a concealer and it just doesn't do it for me.

I use Bare Escentuals and I love it. The foundation does have a faint shimmer to it. When I do my foundation, I feel that my face looks like it does right after I have washed it--minus the red patchy spots! I look fresh and clean. BE has a product called mineral veil that is a finishing powder that tones down the shine and absorbs oil. I'm not familiar with the other lines mentioned.

I use Bare Escentuals. I have never noticed a shimmer to the foundation powder?? ( I use either Light or Fairly Light) I will have to check tomorrow morning.

I was very leary of this since I have dry skin and figured it would cake in the wrinkles, but actually it has done great and my skin was not as dry this winter as in years past so.....
