Alright ladies, just something my friends and I were talking about today that I found interesting...

What is the most expensive and least expensive makeup item you wear???

Mine are:
Most: My Laura Mercier foundation primer or moisturizing foundation... either one is $39.00 (but with pale skin like mine - I wear baby powder for powder in the winter - I will pay whatever for something that is the right color)

Least: Maybelline Waterproof Full and Soft Mascara... maybe $8.00 and looks so great.

Lancome-foundation $32 purchased at Macy's.I use Maqui-Libre Pale Clair.... can't get me to change from this foundation.. many tried.. many failed....

WetnWild brow pencil- $1 at Target. I have tried all the brow pencils, powder ever made... and dang it this one matches my red/blondish eyebrows...

Other than that I stick with Lancome' or Loreal'... which are sister companies.

Oh this is an easy one......ZERO......I don't spend any money on make-up becasue I don't wear any....I like being able to get up at 700 and be out the door by 730 after a quick shower...I hate make up!

All I wear in Clinique stuff. I did buy some Lip Smackers gloss the other day...DD bought some and she said I had to have it, too!

I have no idea...it has been at least 6 years since I have bought makeup.

But I am glad you asked..when are you suppose to replace it?

Hmmm... most expensive is probably the Lancome foundation. I think it's about $38 a bottle. The least expensive? I'd have to say the four year old compact of Revlon brow powder that I'm still using. I think it probably cost about $5. That was a bargain! LOL!

I've got a lipgloss that set me back a whole dollar. I don't pay more than $10 for any kind makeup. I don't like paying a whole lot when I can get the same effect and not spend as much money.:)

I rarely wear make up truthfully... mostly only on special occasions. But when I do, the most expensive stuff I own is my foundation/powder from Clinique which was $22. I know I've bought some make up for less than $1 more than once so I know some of my lipglosses and eyeliners went for that.

most expensive: Tie -- my sunblock (Bullfrog) or my perfume
least expensive: my lip balm (b&bw sweet melon)

Other than that, I don't wear makeup

Most expensive: Clinique loose powder - $17 (or thereabouts)

Least Expensive: Maybelline eyeliner - a few bucks

Most expensive would probably be all my lip gloss. I'm addicted. I started pulling my tubes of lip gloss out of my purse recently and counted 15 tubes. That's not including all the ones I have on my bureau at home.

Hi, my name is Melinda and I'm a lip gloss addict. :smooth:

I'm not sure about least expensive. Blush maybe. I don't wear much of it.

My cheapest would be my Cover Girl blush at $4.99. My most expensive would be Cover Girl lipstick for $8.99. Fortunatley I don't need to wear all that other crap! I am lovely just the way I am.:teeth:

and that's not even my whole collection - I've bought more since that picture was taken!

To answer the question:
Most expensive - Tarte Cheek Stain in Flush - $26
Least expensive - Rimmel white eyeliner - $1.97 at wal-mart. heheh

Most expensive: If you count skin treatments/moisturinzers, Chanel firming lotion at $100. If you limit it to make-up the most expensive would probably be Lancome eyeshadow at around $50.00.

Least expensive would probably be my almay face powder. I have no idea how much it costs, but I get it at the drug store and it's probably under $10.00.

And only 17 tubes of lipgloss? That's pathetic! :teeth: I have somewhere between 100 and 200 tubes of lipstick!

Yes, I am a makeup addict and I spend $$$$ on cosmetics.

Well,

I think the most would be a foundation by Clarins...$45

the least an eye pencil by Rimmel (British) $5.00

I spend more on treatments and night creams though. I like Jo Malone from the U.K and her products are pricey. Very yummy though and her fragrances as well.

Hey - that's just what I found in my PURSE!

I have close to 50 lip glosses...I'm not a lipstick person though...

and being that I just started 'collecting' this year...I think i'm on my way to lippie detox soon.

omg...$355 in Sephora? at age 17?
The most I've spent in there (when not purchasing gift cards for gifts) was around $90...and I'm $27.

Stila, IMO, is overpriced crap - but I LOVE the NARS blushes!

truffle oil? she better have the prettiest hair in all the land!

dang - when I was 17 all my makeup came from CVS or Rite Aid! hehehe $355 would have been spent on clothes!

good for her though...as long as she enjoys the stuff she worked hard to get...why not? it's not somethign she does all the time - right? Besides - Sephora in NYC is like the mothership. heheh
