What kind of razor do you use for shaving? Do you have more than one kind for different areas? I just saw a commercial on TV for a razor that has 5 blades, made for women! To me, that's like twice as many blades and twice the chance to nick myself.
I've been using whatever my husband buys for himself, mostly Gillette or Bic, but they don't seem to last more than one time and they are expensive. Is it cheaper to buy a razor you keep and just replace the blade? Do they make those anymore?:surfweb:
What do you all use and are you happy with your razor?:lovestruc

I like Schick Intuition. It has a ring of lotion around the blade, so I rarely cut myself.
Now that I said that, I will hack my legs tomorrow.

I have a TracII (Shick/Gillette??) that I have had since college. It has 2 blades and a lotion strip at the top. I never cut myself. I use cheep hair conditioner to shave my legs-works way better than shaving cream and you can see what you are doing.

I don't know who makes it, Bic maybe...? I like the Soliel with FOUR blades.

I use the Venus Divine. They do a great job - I can use the same razor every day for about a week and it's still smooth and doesn't nick me.

I use a Venus, I think it has 4 blades. My legs are really sensitive so more blades are actually better for me. :)

I'm using the Schick Quattro and you replace the blades. I like it for many reasons but most importantly, the blades don't have to be replaced often at all and even after a whole lot of uses it doesn't nick me.

I use the plain old pink Daisy ones with the double-blades.

The trick to any razor is to keep it dry between uses.

This is what I use too. I like it because in small showers it's hard to keep the shaving cream from being washed away. No need for it with these!

I like the Venus disposables, so I get those. Sometimes I'll buy a pack of Daisy disposables, and lately they've had a Venus in there as a bonus.

Personally, all those extra blades don't do anything for me. The Trac II that golfgal was talking about was the best I've ever used, but I haven't seen them anywhere.

My boyfriend uses Mach3 Turbo -- and now, so do I. They last longer, they shave closer, and no nicks. Plus the Mach3 blades fit on the handle of my old Venus Divine. They're not cheap, but they are totally worth it!

I use the mans Gillette Pro Fusion glide thingy. I use that new Skintimate shaving lotion, or conditioner. My legs get soooooooo smooth from that combo its insane! Love love love that razor, even if it's meant for a man. The blades are pricey, but very worth it to me.

I thought I was the only one who did this! :goodvibes

I think the more blades the razor has, the better it shaves without nics.
I buy the good razors that have multiple blades (Schick Quatro?) for my DD, since she's still kind of a rookie, and since I can't afford them for myself by the time her H&BA budget is spent, I end up with disposables on sale. :goodvibes

Hah! Amateurs....I use this!
