Ladies, what are you giving your boyfriends/significant others/husbands for Christmas?

I'm in sort of a different situation because he's a new-ish boyfriend (4 months), so I think we will be exchanging gifts, but probably nothing really expensive or extravagant (I mean, I think so?) - thus, the Budget Board. So something thoughtful, but not over-the-top.

Anyway, I am just looking for some ideas, so post away!! He's mid-30s and pretty much buys for himself if he wants anything. I was thinking maybe something related to his favorite sports teams, like a nice sweatshirt or something, but I think he's already got that!

Thanks!

I'm thinking of getting my dh one of those charging mats for his phone and ipod.
What he's definitely getting is a Northface jacket, a new cell phone and a stand for his barbells.

Does your BF have any hobbies or interests. You could get him something that goes along with those.

I'm going a bit overboard.. but I always do. My bf is the same in that he buys whatever he needs when he sees it.. we'll be moving in together soon and there is a grill he saw and said "one day I'll have a grill like this".. it's pricey, even on sale, but it's something both of us will get a lot of use out of...

i got DH a charging pad last year...he used it for the first time this week.

THIS year he's getting something he'll use every day...a heated bidet toilet seat. :rotfl:

And a few books he wants...a dvd...a wii game...an XM radio...and tickets to the Opera at La Scala on our January trip to Italy.

OMG!!! That is too funny. :lmao: I think I will probably NOT get that for my BF, although he'd probably like it. :rotfl2:

Tickets are a good idea... hmmm. Might need to look into that.

Keep the ideas coming everyone, this is helpful!

My DH is getting one of the new Craftsman Power Hammers
Nascar T-shirt and Hat
Bamboo compartment tray for all of his pocket crap and two cell phones
Sleep pants and long sleeve sleep shirt

and that's all I have so far...:rotfl:

DF started a wish list on Amazon so all I have to do is check what he wants. Are there any movies you guys have seen together he may want on Blu ray? A watch is a nice gift is he doesn't already have a nice one. (although I bought DF one TWO YEARS AGO that's still in the box.) They have some pretty unique sports gifts out there. What does he do for work? Maybe something for his office?

I got my boyfriend a couple of little things - a book I think he'll love, a plastic utensil set for when he brings lunch to work, a little box of his favorite candy - and an iPod touch, which was a bit splurgey but I thought he'd be psyched.

Sports tickets are a great idea! Some of my friends and I get super cheap (less than $10) tickets to the NJ Devils/NJ Nets games... even not being a huge sports fan myself, it's so much fun to go to games and drink overpriced beer and cheer for your team!

Something cute or useful for his office is a good idea! Although he has so much crap/papers in there, it might get lost. :lmao:

Maybe a funny book... hrmmm.

My DH is easy, he wants sweats and an alarm clock. He's also getting an iPod Nano and only because I am getting it for 25% off. LOL

he LOVES the promise of the toilet seat and tickets to La Scala are a once in a lifetime thing. :)

I guess next year I'll only be able to 'upgrade' by booking him on the space shuttle. :rotfl:

DH wants a new gun. Nothing says I love you like firearms ;)
