ladies ... a question for you

Ok, so why is it that no matter how recently you have gone to the bathroom, as soon as you sit down in a movie theater, you feel the urge? Does this happen to anyone else?!?!? Just curious!

Yep. And the same thing happens to me when I go to bed. I go to the bathroom, jump in bed, within 2 minutes, I feel like I have to go again and can't fall asleep. I've even tried some of the "gotta go right now" drugs - nothing helps.

Yep. Thats me alright. Just went to the movies today to see Corpse Bride went just before we went in and close to the end had to go again. Luckly this time I was able to watch the entire movie and not leave to the bathroom. I get up so often throughout the night it is awful!

Yup, as soon as I walk into a movie theater I always have to go. Happened to me last night, when I saw Wedding Crashers here on campus.

OMG, this is SO me! Drives me crazy--I cannot go to sleep with anything in my bladder. And even if I have just gone and haven't drank anything before bed, if I *think* about needing to go I can't go to sleep. And please, please don't be reading this Tag Fairy.

My Dh is the one that has to continually stop in the car. I'll drink something before him, but he'll need to stop first. I'm mean and I make him wait to stop until I need to go.

Well I would have said it's all that loss of muscle tone from childbirth, but I think we have at least one person on this thread who hasn't given birth.

I think it has to do with sitting in certain positions, or changing positions, putting different kinds of pressure on your bladder. I have found that if I stay seated, for example, I do not have to go, but if I stand up, suddenly I feel that I do.

At any rate, if you always feel like you have to go, you should see a dr. to rule out a UTI or bladder infection.

Not so much at the movies, but ALWAYS when I am browsing at a bookstore or looking for cards (like at a Hallmark)! I swear, it's like my bladder hears the word "card" and goes into little tee-tee spasms.

Thursday when I told a friend I had only been to the bathroom twice during about 8 - 10 hours she knew something was wrong with me. She knows I go all the time.

I do believe my bladder is the world's smallest and is probably the size of a green pea.
