usually they do not have this milk. maybe if you call 24 hrs they might get it just enough for you. Like this type also.:dance3:

Has anyone ever phoned ahead and the resort was able to accommodate this for you? My DD13 was diagnosed recently and is going to go crazy as they offer ice cream and milkshakes at every restaurant we go in. She knows how bad she will feel if she eats or drinks it but it's hard when my other two DDs go hard at the ice cream at every meal(it is vacation, right?!). It would be great if POR foodcourt could do this. I will call today and report back what I am told.

My DH is Lactose intolerant and he loves going to Disney. It is one of the best places where they can accomodate his dietary needs. All of the resorts sell Silk Soy Milk, I have never seen Lactaid. We usually buy some Lactaid and leave that in the room for him and he gets the soy if he needs it anywhere else. All of the table service resturants can offer you Tofutti or Rice Dream Ice Cream. DH prefers Tofutti, says the other has an after taste. You can also get an ice cream sunade at the ice cream place at pop century next to the food court or in MK at the Ice Cream palor. They both have the Tofutti and Rice Dream. I have also read that the Dole Whips are dairy free, DH is going to try them on the next trip!

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions or need help!

PS - If you have table service reservations, just call Dining or tell them when you check in you have a dietary need. The chef will come to the table and tell you how they can make what you want without diary. If it is a buffet, they will walk you around the buffet and tell you what you can and can't eat.

Why not lactaid pills? I am pretty lactose intolerant and as long as I take some lactaid fast-act with the dairy I am fine.

:thumbsup2 glad to see this thread thanks OP DS2(3 in OCT) is lactose intolerant, and my mom actually is too she takes the pills but they said not for children under 4 (even though hes bigger than my 4 year old :lmao:) so if I can ever get him to drink soy milk again (its been about 2 weeks now!!) i'll make sure to look for it

I think it depends on how senstive you are. DH is extremly senstive, so the pills don't really help. He tries to avoid diary all together.
