Lack of Standby for BoG Lunch

With more and more Guests participating in the direct to table test for lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant, standby availability is limited. Please advise any Guest inquiring about Be Our Guest and not taking part of the direct to table test about the limited availability, and also offer information on other quick service restaurants. ​

IMO, no one should feel bad if they can't get BOG or lunch. For us, it was by far the biggest disappointment of the trip - doubt we'll ever go there again.

Is that "memo" just for the week listed? I hope so. As I understand it you have to have a resort reservation to get a FP for BOG. I don't want to book a hotel just so my dd can eat in the place she really enjoys.

I read that they are going to start handing out tickets to people in the standby line. And when they run out they will turn people away.

BOG was the 'best' CS that we had for lunch. We went three different trips, had the Braised pork and French onion soup and each time it was delicious. Didn't have a desire for the desserts - a very tiny muffin with a big price! We enjoy our desserts at 'off ' times.

No 'one' restaurant is everyone's 'cup of tea'!
