Laci Peterson's 28th birthday was yesterday...

...I caught some of the memorial service. It was heartbreaking and I actually had to turn it off.
Did anyone else see any of it? Apparently Scott Peterson asked to attend but was turned down by the authorities. Can you imagine her poor parents looking up and seeing him there?

Why would he even ask? It's not as if he's acted like he cared before.

I saw a bit of it and I didn't want to see any more. It's too heartbreaking.

Hmmm, maybe he asked to show what a loving, caring husband he was. After all, he's innocent. NOT!

I feel for Laci's family. Very sad.

Has anyone heard on the news what the woman in the balcony was shouting when the memorial was about to end? I saw her yelling, but did not know what she was saying.

It was a beautiful tribute to what must have been a wonderful young woman and child.

So very sad indeed. At least the family will have some sense of closure now that her (& those of their grandson) remains were found. I don't think there will ever be peace in their hearts though.

I was wondering the same thing... sounded like something about God but it was definitely NOT the time nor the place. I haven't heard anything since. So sad....
