Hi Guys

Has anyone been at Disney for the Labour Day weekend? Are the crowds totally mad?

We fly in on Saturday (only 6 sleeps to go!!). We are planning on doing Epcot on Sunday, with a PS for the Ice Cream Social.

Thanks for any info you have.

Karen

i've never been at WDW for labor day weekend, but i wouldn't think it's as bad as say memorial day weekend (in may)...
and since you're going soon it really doesn't matter one way or the other....you'll be finding out soon enough..
but my guess is, it won't be as bad as a summer weekend...
people don't like to travel when their kids have just started school or are just about to start....

in any case, you're going to the happiest place on earth....with or without crowds, it's a wonderful place to be....

have fun..

Hey Karen

We fly out on Friday and our first stop is MK on Saturday:jumping1: I can't wait. I imagine it will be busier than normal but hey like disneyholic family say your in the most magical place so the crowds won't matter:Pinkbounc

I might see you there:p

Have a great trip

hi, we were at WDW this time last year, and were there for labor day weekend, we went to MGM on the saturday and it was busy, but I cant say it was any busier than any other day we had had, it was already busy because it was the summer anyway! we kept away form the parks on sun and mon just in case, although this suited us to have a break anyway, we went shopping as most shops had labor day weekend sales, they did close early, about 4pm I think but apart from that there were no obvious differences in the queues.
the best thing about labor day weekend was that most of the american school kids went back to school the next day, so visitng the parks after labor day weekend was a dream, we went to Universal and Islands of adventure and, walked straight on all rides, including hulk, spidey and dueling dragons. no queues at all.
you have picked a great time to go, I'm envious!
have a great trip!

Labour Day Weekend is busier than Normal on the Saturday and Sunday, then it goes really quiet after that as the previous post says' All the Children go back to school'.
We fly Saturday too!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited
