Has anybody had experience with Labor Day weekend crowds? We are considering that time for this years trip and would really only be in a park on Labor Day and the following 4 days. Thanks

I think it is a good time to go. You should plan for that day to be crowded, however, it should be a lot less the following four days.
We have visited on that weekend several times. Certainly not as busy as Christmas or July 4th but a little crowded. Last year we did Universal that weekend and it was fun for a change.
Schools in FL will already be back in during that time so most of the locals will only be there for the weekend.
Hope this helps and enjoy,

We went the day after Labor Day last year, and it was WONDERFUL! Extremely hot and humid, but the crowds were so low that we didn't mind a bit. We were done with the Magic Kingdom by 3pm, and that includes riding many rides, some even twice (Peter Pan, Pirates, Small World, Space Mountain, TTA, Buzz Lightyear, Splash Mountain, etc), saw the Tiki room show, and standing in line for character greets.

Needless to say, we'll be making the day after Labor Day an annual visit! :)

Did a last minute trip this past Labor Day. Received a great deal at ASM $64 (I believe). We have gone in October and November so the last two times we went down so we were concerned about the crowds. However they were not a problem. Rode Space mountain three times in about a 40 minutes, ToT twice in about 25 min and Rock and Roll Roller Coster 3 times in about 40 min.

The only complaint that I had was the weather was so HOT. But what do you expect for Florida in September.
I hope this helps.

I went just this past labor day. I did Universal on Labor Day, and there was NOBODY there. Everything was a walk on. The only thing I waited for was Men In Black, and it was only a 10-15 minute wait.

The Disney parks, on the following 4 days were dead. EVERYTHING was a walk-on. Literally. I didn't wait for anything at any time of day, at any park.
