labor day weekend

Historically speaking, is it crowded Labor Day weekend? I'm really just interested in the Friday night stay at DVC, not the actual parks. More specifically, I'm looking to book at AK (non-home resort) 7 months out.

I visited once around Labor Day, and the crowds were very light. Its a bit early to be taking kids out of school for a trip. My bet is that you'll be able to book without any problems.

This year on Labor Day Weekend, I got a studio at BCV on about 4 hours notice, and went. SAB was pretty busy, but the parks were pretty empty. It was great.

It's one of our favorite times to go. If you can stay a few days into the week the crowds are totally gone. Saturday and Sunday can be busy in the parks.

We weren't there on Labor Day, but arrived 2 days later this year for 8 day stay and it was really quiet around the resort. You should be able to book without any difficulty.
