Any early predictions on crowds for Labor Day Weekend? We got all of our ADR's easily and are hoping everything else is easy too!!

I don't really know what the crowds will be like. . .but we will be there having fun as well!
:goodvibes
Have a great trip!

Our family is arriving Sept 1st also.

We did Veteran's Day weekend/ super soap weekend for a couple of years and it got pretty busy.

So we are trying another holiday,

We will be there too!! Arriving Thursday and leaving Tuesday. Unfortunatly with dh's job it is easier for him to get away on a holiday weekend. It stinks because of the crowds and prices but it's all we can do. Hopefully Labor Day weekend wont be that crowded. It is part of the value season so that must mean something.

We will be there the 1st week also. We went 2 yrs ago at the same time and it wasnt too bad, but that was before the dining plan. Keeping fingers crossed it wont be.

POFQ Sept 06 :bounce:

we will be there too! arriving the 1st and leaving the 4th.. was there last LD and it wasnt too bad

I was told by posters on these boards that labor Day itself is not as busy as you would think! Parks are manageable, but I'd say get there early so you can leave early if you need too. My niece is looking over my shoulder going " DUH!!!" :)

I was there last Labor Day Weekend, w/free dining. The crowds weren't too bad just make sure you use fast pass and you shouldn't have any problem. People that didn't have ADR's were being turned away at dinner time.

Count us in too!

My DH and I arrive late Thursday Night and leave Monday morning.

We are looking for a nice relaxing weekend with no kids to celebrate my 40th! (yikes!).
We have already decided... if there is a long wait, we can skip - everything but Soarin'.
We had no problem changing our ADR's two days ago either.

Me Too! Me Too! We'll be there the 1st 10 days.

Keeping fingers crossed for low crowds

This year will be our 3rd time going on Labor Day. The crowds are not too bad at all, but it usually rains daily and it will be hot & humid. FL kids are in school at this time as many other kids around the US are too, so that keeps some people away. Here in WI, we don't start until after Labor Day, so we like to take advantage of this time to go to WDW.

Great to know DH and I wont be alone Labor Day weekend. Anyone staying at CBR?Also good to know that ADR could be changed. Eating at Nine Dragons Sat and hear it's not the best. Also coming in on Sept 1-4. Anyone a little nervous about flying? Why did this have to happen just before we leave? Wear some lime green so I can spot you all.

We'll be arriving on the 1st as well. Had no problems getting ADR's. We're planning on taking it easy the first couple of days. If the crowds are low, we'll enjoy the attractions, otherwise we'll just enjoy being there witnessing the magic. We were there last September (started our vacation the 2nd week of Sept) and the crowds were non-existent. Most waits were no more then 10-15mins. Was so nice (the low crowd level ... not the humidity or heat). I had only been to WDW before as a kid during the busy Easter/Spring break season. Those crowds were insane (and way before fastpass).

No matter what the crowds are like though, we'll have a great time. We love Disney!

Hello fellow Mobilian!! I have yet to see anybody from our town. We are getting our AP this Dec. and I noticed you stayed @ CBR and CSR. We are thinking about staying at different resorts on our trips for 2007. Which is your favorite? So, what do you do in Mobile?

We arrive Aug. 30 - Sept 4. Staying at POR. We were there last year at the same time with free dining. Crowds were not bad at all. We had a great time. The heat is very bad!

We'll be there also the 1st-4th, a great break before I have to get back to the grind of the school year. Hoping for small crowds and great memories!

We will be there the first 9 days. It wasn't too bad a few years ago when we were there.........hoping for the same this year.

I will be there from September 2nd - 7th...never been on a Holiday before so I am hoping it is not too bad.

We will also be there the 1st through 4th. We had no problems getting dinner ressies either. Hope the crowds are low.

CSR is our favorite and the pool is awesome, BUT we never are at the hotel and POP Century was fine last year (free dining then also). We bought a 10 day pass last year and only used a couple of days. We just do short trips annually and do our favorites in the parks. Its hard to beat a free dining package -- 4 nights 2 adults 2 children -- only had to purchase a one day pass for package, (using tickets we already have) -- only $599.

I work in a radiology dept. How about you?
