Labor day weekend hours

I just looked at the official calendar and I'm surprised at how short park hours are for the holiday weekend. We've gone the past 4 labor days and MK has always been open late on Sat night (1 or 2 am) but this year the calendar says 10pm. anybody have any insight as to why?

I want to hold out hope it will change but we really aren't that far out anymore.

I don't have any insight but we are going over Labor Day and I'm disappointed in the hours as well. I really hope they extend them!

I am usually there at the beginning of Sept and remember the parks always closing pretty early compared to summer hours. They look pretty normal to me and I don't ever remember them changing them as it gets closer to Sept....that would be nice tho!

I think June's calendar hours were extended in the middle of May and I am hoping that they do the same for our July trip in a few days. I out of 8 trips in the last 9 years this the latest that they've waited to extend summer hours, so there is still hope for you guys (and us).

They haven't been changing hours until last minute. Still waiting to see if MK is going to be open later than 10 the week of July 4th.

I was thinking the same thing. We were there last year and MK had EMH til 2am. We are going back this year so I hope they extend them. I love late nights.

We are going for July 4th and MK is still closing at 10pm!! HS is closing at 8:30pm all week!!

Hours are not being extended until about two weeks before the start of the month so far this year. July hours will probably be released in the next week or so, June hours weren't finalized until the 3rd week in May, and for September hours you're probably looking at mid to late August before hours are finalized. they will likely be extended, but I would be prepared for them to close slightly earlier than last year. That seems to be the trend so far for this year.

It's hard making ADRs and fast passes when you have no idea the closing times. If a park is open late, I usually prefer a more leisurely morning and am more likely to do a resort meal and park hop. It's kind of hard to plan 2 weeks out. Ugh.

Last year the Labour Day hour extension came closer to the date than we are now. We were there last year and I'm pretty sure the Sunday night was open until midnight, not sure about the Monday though we left that day.
