Does anyone know how crowded the parks are on Labor Day weekend? We are planning to go to MK on the Sunday of that weekend and we want to be prepared. Is it better than/worse than/same as a typical summer weekend?

Thanks!!!

I am not sure about Sunday, even though that was our arrival day last year  and I just cannot remember much about it  (early flight  ). Anyway, I don't remember it being too bad, and Labor Day itself was very low crowds. We couldn't believe it, but we were very glad :sunny: .

Thank you! I hope that the crowds aren't bad. I don't mind dealing with crowds, but I just wanted to have an idea of what to expect.

Enjoy your upcoming "Gathering"!

We were at the MK last year on the Sunday before Labor Day and it was not busy at all. We did EE and finished all of Fantasyland within the first 1 1/2 hour. We liked it so much, we're going back the same time this year. We'll be at the MK that Sunday again too!

LittleMermaidsMom, that's great to hear. Thanks! We will be doing EE on that Sunday as well, so we hope to get a lot accomplished by lunch time.

I too was a lil nervous about the crowds, I remember being there in 200o for the week leading up to labor day and labor day weekend, it was pretty crowded on the saturday before and labor day itself in the magic kingdom, however we decided to try another trip this year leaving on August 31st for seven nights at the pop century, I am hoping that the crowds are as low during the week we go as they were a few years ago and I am really hoping that the weekend has less attendance as well. :earsgirl:
