Help!!!We have always stayed on pro[erty but have been given a deal with a free stay using points at either a La quinta or Baymount. Has anyone ever stayed at either chain near the parks? If so which is better as in cleaner rooms ,pool etc.
Thanks

We are staying at the Maingate La Quinta in two weeks time!
I have looked at the reviews it gets and the hotel seems ok.
If you can wait until I get back I will post a report about it.
Have never tried a Baymount so can't comment.

Thanks so much. I will be wiating anxiously for your report. I am very nervous since we have only stayed on property all the times we have been. I am especially worried about the location area and hotel cleanliness.
Thanks again and have a great time. :cool1:

I visited the Maingate La Quinta - it is hard to find. It is not on a main street - but behind some stuff.

that say - it is a lovely hotel. Now we did visit when it was still new. but since it was new last year it can't be beat up even now.

Well we are back from our holiday.
The La Quinta was both good and bad!
The staff were very helpful
The breakfast was good, saved going to ponderosa.
The noise level from other people was bad.
We moved rooms 4 times, all because of people having their tv on too loud. So loud we could not hear our own tv! We could also hear talking from the next rooms, one night at 2am the people next door let their child play the drums.
We eventually ended up in a suite which was great, quiet and away from the noise.
Wouls I stay there again, yes but only in one of the suites.
Nice hotel, nice staff , shame about the tv noise.

We stayed there two years ago, in a good location, close to the parks and shopping. The Super Wallmart is just down the road a bit. As previous poster said, the walls are thin. Everything else was fine. Not very busy when we were there.
