yes they are. oldest DD thinks it's a great idea for us to go since we took them to cedar point 4 times this year and to kings island 7 times so far with 1 or 2 more halloween trips planned. to everyone who replied i thank you

does anyone have any pics from la nouba? i know they say no pics and no video but i've seen a few rule breakers out there on youtube LOL:rolleyes1

I'm very excited. I saw Delerium (sp?) when it came to my home town in June and it was amazing! So I just had to get a ticket for my up coming trip next month. Can't wait to see this show.

Oh and the AP discount is 25% off Cat 2 seats I believe.

Also there is a 10% discount at the VirginMega store in DTD so if you buy your movie there you get the discount too. Thats with your AP.

The first time I went we sat off to the side. The seats were not the greatest. At our angle you missed some stuff.

So I was going on a trip with my best friend. I knew we were gonna see it, so I went to the window & pointed at THE BEST SEATS in the house & said I want whatever night I can get these, in the week we were going. I got them. They were awesome. They are the best seats to have. They're in section 204 row DD seats 8 & 9. These seats are dead center. They are the best because no one is in front of you & you're still far enough back to see everything, including the isle. I would highly recommend both the show & the seats. When we go again, we will be asking for these seats again- they were worth every penny.

KYCruiseCrazy - you can see some pictures of La Nouba (and all the other Cirque shows) at Cirque Tribune (I still can't post links, but go to cirquetribune.com and look in the Gallery under 'Shows')

Does anyone know how far in advance you can purchase tickets?
We won't be there till Aug 08, but I'd love to surprise my boys with tickets!

Our first time we sat dead center in the first row of the upper section and thought the seats could not be beat. The second time, I got dead center in the very front row. My DH was not happy, said his neck was going to hurt from looking up, etc. After the show, I asked him what he had thought and he said the front row seats were actually better. I agreed. We hadn't noticed at all that we had to look up and we were able to see the facial expressions on the performers. Even more special, DS26 got selected to "participate" on stage and we got to watch him all embarrassed up there.

I have not seen it but we did see Mystere in Vegas and Cirqe is something you really need to see in person. All the DVDs and YouTube videos show a really awesome show but you have no idea how awesome until you see it for yourself. I litterally sat with my jaw dropped for much of the show. I was totally bummed to not get tickets for it for our trip in October but since it is our first trip and I have a 2 (almost 3) year old I decided to wait until next trip to see it. Get some good seats and you will NOT regret it. They are some of the most talented performers you will ever see.

thank you everyone. we are in sec 205 row EE, and from what everyone has said it looks like we will have a grand old time.

I am glad I found this thread, DH and I can't decide if we want to go or not. I think we will, it seems to have a lot of fans!

when do they do the walk a round on the upper red carpet area? i don't want to miss it. thanks

We're going on October 4, and I wish I had done a little more research into the seating suggestions. I thought the closer to the stage the better, so I paid the extra money to get those seats. But now everyone seems to recommend the 203/204 section. Does anyone know if they will let you exchange tickets for another section?

the tix are NON refundable:sad2:

Could someone give me the La nouba website address please......if you order the tickets on line through the site are you given the option to choose your seats or would i have to call up and book to get a particular section / seat row???
I've been on various ticket selling websites but it seems that you are only offered category 2 seating and no further details - mind you i havent gone through to 'check out' so may be you have that option there???

On the advice of the rep I talked to, we ended up buying front row seats on the side. We have young children and she said they would be totally amazed at being so close and that if people were in front of us if we sat farther back, they might have trouble seeing. She also said that she would be giving me different advice if our party was just adults or adults with older children.

Anyway, I started second-guessing my decision to get the front row seats and called back. I was told that while they can't exchange the tickets in advance of the show, we could ask at the box office that evening if other seats were available and that we could almost definitely change then. I don't know - I guess we'll get there early, check out our current seats, and then decide if we want to pursue changing them. However it works out, we are so excited for the show!!

It's definitley worth it. It's amazing to watch. I've been twice. The first time I sat in the middle and the second- I sat in the front row. While the front row is the best, you really can't see the entire stage and what all is going on. I would reccomend sitting towards the middle or back so you can have an entire view of the stage to watch the performers! Have a magical time!

They troop around the red carpet at the beginning of the performance. This is after the "Clown" warmup, too funny dont miss:lmao:
