DH is taking me to see Cirque for my birthday and I want to pick the best location. My best friend is a La Nouba fan and she told me that the best seats are anywhere within the Cat 1. I remember reading that the best seats are located in the middle and if you are unable to get them in category 1 you should try to get them on Cat 2. Is this true? ..what would you recomend? If I can't get seats in section 103 are sections 203 or 204 good?

help!! :confused3

I am taking DW for her bday that was last month. I wanted the best seats just like you. When you go onto the Disney site and try to buy tickets, if you select best seats available, they would never show the section we wanted. The best thing to do is call and they can transfer you to the people at Cirq. Make sure you have the seating chart pulled up and ask to see if they have it available. To my surprise the seats we wanted were available. So we are now 3rd row in the middle.....I am sure DW and I will both love this show. And then kick our selves for not going the past 2 time we went. Oh wait in Dec. we went when they had black out dates. So check for that as well...

As far as catagory. I have heard that there is no bad seat in the place. Get the seats where you feel comfy with and ok with the price...

We've been many times and have sat in the 100 and 200 sections. We prefere sections 203 and 205, I guess we like being a little off center. Right now we've got tickets for Jan in section 203 row BB seats 16-19. Can't wait, great show. Maine :firefight

hmm this is odd cause when i called they said it's best seat available so you take what they give you..i asked if i could get something other than what they first offered. she said" no, it's that or nothing "( her exact words, kind of snotty about it).so maybe it depends on who you talk to. the seat s she gave us were fine btw so it wasn't really a problem. however don't know now if i talked to disney or cirq.

The first row of the upper section is good. Many of the performers pass by in the aisle right in front of you during the opening 'parade'. You are close enough to see detail, but far enough away to get the big picture.

I had to be transferred to Guest Services to get seats in any other than the "best available". We prefer to sit up high and in the center rather than lower, but at the side. The "best available" seemed to be programmed to choose the lowest seats. For this show, it seems like you'd be craning your neck to look up at everything from the lowest seats, where everything is right straight in front of you from the upper section.

Where do you choose to sit in movie theatres? If it's up close to the front, maybe you'd prefer the lower section of Cirque. If it's further back, then maybe choose the upper section. Definitely as close to the center as you can get though!

While the venue is very small, there is a lot of action. The absolute best seats are in the second tier. You have a great view of everything..all the time.

Honestly all seats are good, but hubby and I prefer second tier for best view.

I personally like the first couple of rows in the second teir of seats. AA, BB and CC.

Either way, no matter where you sit, there is so much action, you won't be worried about your view. The only seats I would not want to sit in are the "limited viewing" seats - which sell out last.

And yes, there are dark days! Sunday and Monday ( with very few exceptions ) are dark days, along with select days in the slowers months for re-furbs of the stage.

Thank you, thank you and thank you!! I finally have an idea of where I want our seats to be. :cool1: Looking foward to our trip.
