I haven't decided if I want to go to this show yet, and I want it to be a surprise if we do go, does anyone know if you can just walk up to the show before it starts and buy tickets or must you preorder them and hold them at will-call??

I'm not sure about that, I guess it depends on the crowd level when you're going. We were there in April, and it seemed to be a pretty full house. I highly recommend it - one of the best things we've ever seen!

Pre-ordering is your best option. They reccomend that you get your tickets at least 3-5 days in advance, and depending on the season, you may even be limited at that short of notice.

If you try to get seats the day of..... it could be sold out - where you'd have to wait in a stand-by line.

We went in July, I pre-ordered tickets at the urging of the CM who I talked to about the show...

While we were in line to pick up our tickets at the Window, this man and his wife (who said that they had pre-ordered tickets) were told that their tickets weren't available, their order had been cancelled... He tried to get tickets for that same night (this was the second showing, 9:30, I believe) and was told that there was a sold out show that night, but he could get tickets for a show 2 days away.

Just a word of caution, order early (you'll get great seats!), and be there to pick them up early as well. The lines can get ridiculously long...

Yep.. They actually release tickets at a certain time, making them availible to those in the stand-by line.

It says right on the voucher that they use to pick up the tickets how long before the show they must pick them up by ( 30min i beleive ), if they don't, they could lose them.

This is true. If you pre order tell them it is a surprise and they can ship them to a different address. Funny thing was I told them this and to go ahead and send them hear as I am the one to usually get the mail. In the window of the envelope stated surprise I thought it was funny....But don't you want to know for sure you are going at the time and date that you want, rather then hoping that there are tickets still available?
