Hi,

I'm going to take my parents to see La Nouba in March and I'm wondering if people think the "Front and Center" seats are worth the extra cost. I think "Front and Center" are $121, Category 1 are $105 and Category 2 are $86.

I've been to see La Nouba once before and I think we had Category 2 seats which I thought were pretty good. As I recall, we were maybe 2/3 of the way back and slightly off to one side. If I could get the exact same seats again I'd probably get those. But I see that some Cat 2 seats are right next to the stage but at the extreme left or right sides. I don't think I'd want to get those.

Also, I'm wondering if you get a good view of the whole show sitting really close in the "Front and Center" section. It seems to me that you wouldn't be able to take everything in from up there and you'd be looking way up a lot of the time.

If it's worth it, I don't mind paying the extra money.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I can't speak for La Nouba, but we saw Mystere in Las Vegas last summer and had front and center seats and they were INCREDIBLE!!!

We could see every facial expression in detail, every bead of sweat that dripped off the performer's body, EVERYTHING. It was pricey and I had high expections. It was worth every penny to me, my kids still talk about it!

To me, these are the kinds of things you don't do every day, so I say go for it!

We paid for most expensive seats but they were not at the front, there is a walkway around the theatre if you look at a seat plan, the best seats are above that. If you are upfront you are turning around alot. Although there is not many poor seats in the whole theatre.
It was not some I really enjoyed, also saw 'O' in Vegas few months back, I am not a fan of Cirque shows at all. DW likes them but for me rather do something else. Others love them.

We personally like the middle section seats but higher up, not right in front. There is a lot of aerial acts and we thought that it was better being a little higher up. We always pick these seats when we go and love them, you can see everything.

We were front and center BUT the second level up (past the walkway and very close to what I think was the sound guy). These were the BEST seats. We did not miss ANYTHING. The people in the more expensive seats had to strain to see behind them and above them.

My family loved this show.

A typical Cirque Grand Chapiteau is not that big to begin with---at least, they weren't for Varekai and Alegria. If you have the money in your budget to do it, you probably won't regret it. But, most of the seats are going to be good.

I agree with Vellamint - we've sat 5th row and second level center for Cirque, and although 5th row gave me lots to look at in detail, the second level center just was so much more of an immersive experience.

Also, if your parents are older, they might not want to crane their necks to look up at many of the acts that appear above the stage.

We were in the same area - fantastic seats!

we were front and center, first level but last row right in front of the walkway. I wouldn't have wanted to be too much closer, though being that close was great for seeing expressions on everyone's faces. I really liked that. I don't think there are too many bad seats in the whole house either. It's small enough most views seem like they would be good!

We saw it in December. We were front and center two rows down from the center walkway. It was a fantastic show, but I really think it would have been better higher up in the center. The aisle would be a problem if you were just above it but, if you are anywhere in the middle, I don't think you could go wrong.

I would hestitate to obtain seats near the front of the stage, as performers are in the air often. If you sit up front, you will end up with a sore neck by the show's end! I would try a category 2 section. The higher you go, the better.

In my opinion, I don't think there's a bad seat in the entire theater. Even if you buy a seat way up top, the view will probably be pretty nice.

Cat 1 seats are not worth the money. We got them and spent most of the time looking up. I would go with cat 2. It is an amazing show!
