La Nouba dress-casual or more?

I read somewhere that most people dress up for La Nouba. Is that true? I doubt my husband is planning to take anything more than shorts and polos, and I'll be wearing shorts most days, too. Should I plan that we all dress up that night?

Also, any suggestions for a good, not too loud or time consuming place to eat dinner afterward at Disney Springs?

Have seen it 3 times- never dressed up for it. Take a light sweatshirt in- I found it comfortable, but DW found it a bit chilly. We like the food at HoB- but it might be a bit loud in the early evening. Don't think you will find a 'quiet' place- as most everyone leaving the show has the same plan as you- to go get dinner somewhere. In my experience- there really isn't a dress code at most places in WDW- except for V&As- where it is required. It is suggested at some restaurants, and we usually wear Dockers and a collared polo at those places- but there are lots of families/couples in their shorts and t-shirts as well. Bottom line is no one cares- you don't know them, they don't know you- and it isn't like they are going to post your 'dress faux pas' to Facebook As long as you credit card goes through- Disney is happy to seat you in one of their restaurants or events/attractions regardless of what you have on (except for V&As).

There is no dress code for La Nouba and I wouldn't say 'most people' dress up. Wear whatever you're comfortable wearing.

Some people dress up, but most don't.

If you're looking for a quick dinner, I recommend Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express.

My dress code is shorts and t-shirts year round and that's what I always watch La Nouba in. No problems at all.

No one was dressed up when we went. Just your regular shorts and t shirts.

It's not dress up at all. Very casual with big plastic popcorn pails and drink cups. More like a movie atmosphere.
