Ok, just booked my first trip to WDW. Going May 12-22. We are definitely want to go to Cirque du Soleil but we were wondering if there is a strategy for picking a day. Is it best to go on a weekend or weekday? A busy park day or slow day? Early or late show? Any advice?

Row AA is in All the 2 sections. It is the First row of the 2nd section. I just checked on them and you're lucky, they have a dark period from May 21-June 5 (cast break, retrain, fix sets, etc)

Here is a seating chart:

Just so you know, they usually are not on stage on Sundays and Mondays. Tuesdays and Wendnesdays are usually good days to see it, as they have the lesser crowds. Or that's how it was when I was a reservationist at CRO.

Hope this helps. Have a great time. Oh and a suggestion, try dinner at Bongo's or at The house of Blues. Both are NUMMY!

We went to Cirque on the last day before their dark dates, and on a Saturday no doubt. I think that as long as you call right at the 6 month mark when they open up, you will have a great shot at getting the best seats. We did, and it was a busy Saturday night. We were in section 205 AA.

Just for your info though, sometimes they do not open up the dates at the 6 month period like they are supposed to...By the time that they did (almost a month later!!!), I missed out on a few days, because I had given up and stopped checking daily. So just keep an eye on when those dates open, and you should get great seats, even we did! It was a great show!!! :teeth:

La Nouba, as do all the Cirque shows, provides a wonderful, spectacular evening of entertainment. I really enjoy Cirque. I have found the seats in the uppper section, where you are looking, to be better seats actually than the lower section, as so much of the show is up high or in the walkway between the two levels, requiring one to look up or back if in the lower section. Also, a tip, seats in row EE are almost as good as AA-DD, though a nice savings in $$. Seats in EE, sections 203-205, are great. The later show could typically be less crowded. Enjoy.

And this seat chart gives a little more detail. http://www.floridaorlandotickets.net/cirque_seat_chart.htm

You've received good advice and info -Just wanted to say, you should LOVE it! It's our favorite Cirque! (although I haven't seen O - I've heard that one is awesome too {in Las Vegas})

ENJOY!!!!!

We sat second row center the time we went and it was a blast! Hubby booked really early and had his pick of seats. Can't wait to take the girls. Not sure when a good time to invest the money in the ticket for them yet though.

I couldn't agree more with you. I've sat in 205 EE, the very last row and the seats were specatcular. My attention wasn't so drawn away EVERYTHING going on, I got the whole view. Especially when Flying Man was on. *swoon*

It also made getting out easy. Just down a flight of stairs and I beat most of the crowd out. :hyper:

We thought we'd go on a Sunday, since it was our first night arriving and we weren't doing the parks, but as others have said, no shows on Sun and Mon.

Then we chose a Tuesday night - it was our anniversary so we picked the early (6:00) show and followed that with dinner at Cali Grill. It was a wonderful evening.

Our seats were in the upper level and we had a great view.

Enjoy! :sunny:

We decided with a Saturday night thinking the parks would be busier that day. We went with the 9PM show hoping the younger, possibly less attentive crowd would be heading for bed (maybe?). Picked category 2 seats, got row AA of section 202. I can't wait. This will be our 3rd Cirque show. We've seen Mystere (Vegas) and Allegria (Calgary) already.
