La Nouba Advice

Thinking about booking tickets for La Nouba in the next day or so but need some help!

Judging by the looks of things, to me, it looks like being a bit further back might give you a better view? For anyone who's been would they say this would be the case? Never been to Cirque before and would imagine to be able to see "everything" you'd be better off a bit further back from the stage!

Just don't know what tickets to go for! And the booking site for it isn't that great Would prefer to book through Ticketmaster but for some reason they're not selling them for my dates yet. Thinking about going for Category 1 or 2, but no matter what I do on Category 1 it throws up the same seats everytime but don't seem the greatest

Just looking for any advice or recommendations really! Wasn't considering booking this early, and I may decide to just wait, but it's boyfriend's birthday on Monday and as I know he definitely wants to go while we're in Orlando was going to buy his ticket as part of his birthday.

We saw La Nouba last Sept and sat centrally, half way up - to be honest I think you would get a good view where ever you were, the seats are set as a semi circle - I think the only bad seats would be on either extreme edge.

We like to sit anywhere just above the walkway, then you don't have to turn around to see whats going on behind you.

Personally I would no book so far out again, 1st time I booked on day they were released, got most expensive seats going. 2nd time(last August) I booked day before we flew and got 30% off with Travelzoo, they were doing discounts most of the year. Seats we got were just as good, at least 200 seats empty.

Yeah I was thinking this as I remember you posting about it. Will probably just leave it! Although means I need to go back to the drawing board for boyfriend's birthday present, argh!

I'd say you will benefit the more centrally you are located as opposed to being further front or back. I saw one Cirque show where I was round to the side, and we did miss some parts, so I'd say aim for the middle, far enough back so you can see the whole stage, I'm never a fan of the front rows at theatres/cinemas etc.

Yeah, I was hoping for the middle. But the stupid website keeps giving me 2 of the side areas, although not completely the worst seats I'd rather be in the middle if possible.

first 3 times we saw it, we were right up close in the front center section...and loved it..

the last time we saw it, we bought the tickets at the very last minute....got the center all the way at the very back of the theater and loved those seats too.....so given those seats were a lot cheaper, i'd say no need to spend more on the closer seats......but i would want to be relatively central...that is, not off to far to the side..

we had seats near the front at one side, dont feel that we particularly missed anything, as others have said i dont think any of the seats are particularly bad.

The first time we went we sat about halfway up just to the right of centre and we could everything brilliantly. The second time we sat in the front row to the left and could see well from there also. I think you get very good views wherever you sit.

Like some of the PPs have said, the only "bad" seats are at the extreme edges. But depending on the type of experience you want, there are better ones to go for.

If you want to see the performers up close and get a real "interesting" view of the BMX segment, go front and center, front row is best for this. The downside being a lousy view of some of the high performances (or at least an aching neck by the end) and you'll have to turn round to see the opening parade and a bit of the pre-show.

If you want a good view of the whole theatre then anything after the central walkway is great, though personally I'd prefer not to be totally up in the "nose bleeds".

Lastly, if you like a bit of audience participation, then there's a seat to the right of the lower center section right back against the walkway I can recommend. This is the seat we usually aim for.
