La Hacienda

I booked an 8PM ADR for la Hacienda in June.

We are excited about trying somewhere new so Illuminations is not at all the sole reason we are eating there, but would be a nice bonus.

Is that a good time to *try* for a window seat? In all of our trips to WDW I have never really seen Illuminations-only some of the higher sky fireworks as we were exiting the park.

We do have a plan for coming over and watching Illuminations later in the trip after dinner at the YC.

I would love to hear any reviews of La Hacienda also.

Interested, too, since we have a 7:45 pm ressie on May 28th and hoping to catch Illuminations (but okay if we don't).

We had dinner there back in November and it was my favorite meal of the trip! I have read several posters say they did not care for it but I disagree. We had dinner too early to see Illuminations so I can't answer your question with regards to that however, it has a nice atmosphere and we sat near the windows overlooking the water. I am sure it would have been gorgeous to see from the restuarant. Have fun I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
