La Hacienda, Spice Road Table, or Tokyo Dining?

I know these are VERY different restaurants, but I'm trying to decide which to book on our next trip. These are the three table service places we have not tried in Epcot and we do like all three types of food (kids might not be as thrilled about Japanese as the others, but DH and I like all three). I have read positive and negative things about each - anyone care to sway me one way or the other? Thank you!

I've never been to Spice Road but I'd imagine that one would give you the most unique experience of the three. Mexican and Japanese food ain't that hard to find outside of Disney.

Just a thought, though I dunno how your kids will feel about Moroccan food.

Thank you, and I just realized I posted this in the wrong place, should have been in Restaurants. Sorry about that!

Of the three, we prefer Spice Road Table, but, honestly, the food and atmosphere are quite nice at all three (that was helpful, wasn't it, LOL!). I would pick the one that appeals most and then do the others on another trip!

My nana took me to La Hacienda when I was 5 and I remember vividly how beautiful it was. I know it gets poor reviews for the food but the atmosphere really is amazing.

We've dined at all 3 and of those our favorite by far is Spice Road Table. Both for food and service.

Excellent point. The flavor profiles sound way more unique than they really are. If you have dined at Tangerine Cafe then you would for sure have an idea about how your family would feel about Spice Road Table.

Booze is definitely a consideration for the adults! Margaritas are most appealing, but perhaps I should expand my horizons :)

Another vote for Spice Road. I never eat at the Disney restaurants that are common where I live. So never Mexican, Chinese or Japanese. (I did the hibachi once for someone else .... never again). We really enjoy Spice Road!

Same here, I try not to either. Same way we try not to eat at chains when we travel.
Matter of fact, when we did try Teppan Edo, our chef was from Chattanooga, of all places. Or rather, he had trained here before he went to work at Disney. We went all the way to Disney, to a restaurant that we thought would have a chef from Japan and we had one who had worked here before he went to Disney.

A vote for La Hacienda. We love the Del Mar platter for 2. Shrimp, fish, scallops & vegetables served with Mexican sides. The margaritas are great here. The classic is wonderful and my husband loves the avocado margaritas.

We like both Spice Road and La Hacienda. Of the two, Spice Road Table is our favorite. Everything I have ever ordered there has been excellent and they have some really interesting adult beverages. It's also really nice to site outside and relax on the patio.

The sangria at Spice Road is also very good, and they have a nice drink menu I want to try more of (we've only been once so far).

We love both La Hacienda and Spice Road Table. I'm not a fan of Japanese food, so I can't really weigh in on Tokyo Dining, but my parents enjoyed it last trip (they did Tokyo Dining while my sister and I went to Spice Road Table).

Another vote for Spice Road Table, it is one of the few restaurants at WDW we repeat since we like to try new things. It's also a great place to just walk up to without ADRs, they will seat you on the patio most of the time if you don't have ADRs but even on the hottest days it's pleasant out there. Just for the record, it's not Moroccon food, it's supposed to represent the tastes and flavors along the spice road so it's more mediterranean. If you like to try different beers, they have a great one from Turkey.

I like to try new restaurants too. So do all three. If you can only pick one this trip, I would say do Tokyo Dining... but all are worth visiting at least once.

Great minds. These are the same three that are on my list for Epcot WS choices. H would probably like Tokyo, but he already got his pick (Chefs), and I keep going back and forth between Hacienda and Spice. Love Mexican and exotic margaritas, but, well baklava for dessert and Moroccan/Mediterranean food that I can't get at home. But then I think, well Boma and Sanaa are sure things because we're staying at AKL, is Spice Road too similar of a flavor profile? ARGHHH!!!!! What to do?????

I haven't eaten in Tokyo or Spice Road, but on my two trips to Disney we ate in La Hacienda each time. We loved it both times. The chicken taquitos are delicious, one of my kids favorite foods they ate on the trip and the avocado margarita was so good. Hubby and I both got the steak and loved it!

No, it's not similar. Boma and Sanaa are African based, Spice Roads is Mediterranean based - think similar to Greek food.
