I can't decide between La Hacienda de San Angel or San Angel Inn. The menus are so similar. Is one better than the other? Which should I choose? Thanks for any advice :)

Never been to San Angel so can't comment on it, except that one day i'd like to go just to dine in the pyramid. :-) But my entire party loved La Hacienda.

We like them both menuwise but prefer La Hacienda because the tables aren't so tightly packed together.

Haven't been to both but there's been thread about this and most seem to like Hacienda for their food but for ambience, San Angel (view of lighted pyramid is beautiful) is better choice.

It's matter of what's more important for you. We are going to San Angel this November because ambience/uniqueness is more important for us than food. We can always get authentic/excellent Mexican food at where we live.

Been to both and we prefer La Hacienda. We thought the food and atmosphere was cool. Yes, the pyramid at San Angel was cool but the atmosphere was horrible as we were packed in like sardines. Just my opinion.

We've been to both. San Angel was a must do for us for years and years and years then the service started to go a little sloppy, which we could tolerate because we liked the food then the food started to be not a good so we switched. La Hacienda has a little different menu, it seems to be a slightly more casual atmosphere and it lighter on the inside. You can't beat San Angel for the atmosphere but as others have mentioned, the tables are very tight.

We have done both and love both but San Angel gets a slight bump cause it is such a cool atmosphere. Oh and the margaritas there rock! ;)

I've only been to La Hacienda and the food was excellent. It hovers around the very top dining spots at WDW for my family.

I've only eaten at San Angel Inn. The food was alright, but the whole experience to me was the atmosphere. If you go, request a table on the water.

La Hacienda dinner times with Illuminations viewing from the restaurant is an unbeatable combination in my opinion. My wife and I loved it.

Have an ADR for October F&W, thinking of doing appetizers and Margaritas, then eating and desserts around the world at some fav food booths!:drinking1:hyper:
