La Hacienda - on dining plan or not?

I've read so much conflicting information on this and was hoping someone had a definitive answer. Dh said he'll eat there, but only if it IS on the dining plan. Thanks for any info!!

People who have already been there have reported that they take the DDP.

I wish Disney would update the website to end the confusion. Although I'm convinced it is on the DDP I'd still feel happier with my ADR confirmation if it said so!

Both Hacienda (TS) and Cantina (CS) accept the dining plans. Hacienda has been verified both by guests dining there over the recent days as well as by Disney itself on their blog. Cantina has been verified by Disney itself as well, and I'm sure if asked, someone has recently been there to verify that as well.

the disney site says no but every other website/article says yes. I would imagine disney knows what is and isn't included on their own dining plan but why this discrepancy?

It is.

We have reports from people who have actual been to the restaurant AND from the official disney blog.

Disney's website is notoriously horrid.

There were four threads all asking this question on the first page here, we've combined them into one, so everyone has just one place to look and see that Yes, La Hacienda is on the DDP.

The official Disney page has now been updated to say

'Disney Dining Plan Accepted', so we can all stop worrying

yes the site says accepted in one spot but when you make a reservation it says not accepted on the dining plan
