we ate there in November...liked the specialty margaritas (pricey, but strong, and very tasty) and the main entree (had the meat platter for two) but didn't care much for the desserts.
Can attest that at least 1/3 of the seating has no view whatsoever...that side room has windows, but the view is nothing, and you cannot see the lagoon/'fireworks at all, even when you have the actual window seats in that side room (this it to your left as you enter the restaurant) We had those window seats...worthless for seeing anything.
About 1/2 the people in our section did get up & go in the other room to watch Illuminations, but you're basically standing behind all the other tables in that room, so you won't see any of the higher fireworks anyway. They dim the lights during Illuminations which is kind of a pain if you're in the back room and trying to eat.
We were seated about 7:45, and had asked for a window seat...which we got. Just not one that would do us any good...at the time we were seated we'd never been in there, and it was dark outside so we really did not realize we would not be able to see Illuminations from the window until after we'd been seated and realized there was no lagoon view from that window.
