I have a ressie for La Haciends on 12/9 at 7:30. I was hoping that would not be too early to be able to watch Illuminations. We are the type of family that takes a long time to eat...we like to get desserts and then get drinks and relax. Are we going to be rushed out of there since Illuminations doesnt start until 9:30 that night? Also, can you wait for a window seat? Will they let you?

I have this same dilema on 12/21 with a 7:45 ressie and 9:30 illuminations. I not sure if I should just cancel the ressie as this is the only reason I was willing to try La Hacienda. Also, is the area outside the restsurant available for viewing the show. I don't want feel rushed or bad for holding up a table.

None of the restaurants will force you to leave. If you want a slower paced meal, just tell your server. Most people will want to stay for Illuminations, so you won't be the only party doing this.

From what I've seen, it looks like most tables should get a decent view. I haven't been inside, just saw pictures other people took.
