"La Dolce Vita!!"

Once again...we're all SET!!(WHEW)~Today I was officially CONFIRMED in the same Grand Villa Butler Bayview SUITE we always enjoy at the Universal Studios Flagship resort property...The PORTOFINO BAY HOTEL~!! We've been staying at this property every summer since it initially opened. I even recall the excitement associated with the CONSTRUCTION of this resort. We have been sold ever since. We enjoy the continuity of the same suite each year, like truly "coming home."

Yet, it's always somewhat of a challenge to BLOCK a particular suite at any resort...especially when I make my reservations about a year in advance. There are only a handful of these villa suites to go around, and they are extremely popular. So...Today I received the call I've been waiting for...confirming our reservation in the exact suite we requested (and have ALWAYS enjoyed) for the week!! I am SOOOO happy~! I just LOVE this place. We also have Concierge/CL...and I made special requests to stock beverages in the suite, and other food items, etc., prior to our arrival. There is always Vino, champagne, crackers and cheese, and some choc covered fruit. awaiting us when we arrive. But, I added some extra "surprises" for DH & DD!

It's such a JOY when plans "seemingly" fall into place. I got "chills" while on the phone, as I looked upward and silently gave thanks to the higher powers that BE.

adanpry~The Room rate for this suite is a bit STEEP~so I probably should not post it. Suites at the PBH do not come standard with CL, so this added another $$ per eve. Yes...it's insane, and definitely HOLYMOLY (Cute!!).

Tinkbell~Actually, we'll be at the Peabody, Club level suite during the first couple eves...then over to the PBH. We very well may overlap our stays! There is no such thing as a "lowly" accomodation in the HRH...and you will be VERY happy with the room. Even the "garden" views of these Loews properties are astounding.

Yes, the suite/CL is a wonderful way to "play/experience" US/IOA. But, when the lights are out, and we are all asleep...it's truly just a place to lay our heads. The suites do not really afford us extra privs...just a little more space to FILL (with giant carnival-animals won in US, and luggage, etc. LOL)!!

Enjoy the HRH...and the heavenly beds, FOTLA, etc.

Yes, I will be happy, but I STILL want to be dreamflight. ...............or maybe your long lost sister/daughter/third cousin............LOL!
