LA Disney tickets - duty charge?

Hi

We're going to LA in Spetember and planning to visit Disney. Having been to the Disney website, disneyneyland.disney.go.com we thought we'd buy a Southern California Pass.

Having gone through the process to buy it, I've noticed the Ts & Cs mention that customs and duty is to my cost....does anyone know if I will be charged duty to receive tickets like this posted to me in the UK. I'm buying tickets worth around £1000(!) so I really don't want to pay duty in addition - what a nightmare that would be.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Having just come back from LA, the easiest solution would be to buy them when you get there, they are available at all the hotel reception desks ( well all the ones i noticed anyway) and at the disney ticket booths. Unlike in Orlando Disney / Universal / seaworld etc all work together selling these tickets.
If i remember correctly you can get special rates at the hotel desk saving youself a few extra dollars than the published price.

Never heard of any duty being paid for tickets, the tickets are actually worthless. Can't see how they can charge anything? You are using that ticket for something in US not bringing it into the country.

Why would you by a ticket and pay $25 for shipping? you can do will call and collect it there, this is what we do with any tickets, its a free service. If you did want tickets before you go for some reason then see below.

If you did want tickets before you went why not buy in UK? plenty place sell the SoCal tickets, don't remember who we bought ours from but Google, many that sell WDW tickets sell it, this is 1st I found they are expensive I am sure others will be cheaper. http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/southern-california-city-pass/index.htm

Thanks for that advice....you're right, I don't need to buy them now, just trying to be organised! Will save some dosh and delay.
