La Cava Experience

This sounds awesome. Is this offered every day of the week? On the website I can only find availability on weekends but I can't tell if that's because it sells out early on other days or is only offered on weekends.

I believe it’s Thursday through Sunday.
Next week Thursday for me!
Hope you can get it too!

We did it on a Tuesday in January, the 10th to be exact - I just looked at my pics, but I agree that I don’t think it’s offered everyday. It used to not be available on Fridays and Saturdays (maybe you meant Sun-Thu?), but perhaps that’s changed.

You are probably right.
I know it’s not 7 days a week, and I know we’re going on a Thursday.
Maybe it’s the sangria u I was thinking of.

Sorry- should have taken my time and just made one post.
Another question…
Can you use Disney gift cards to pay for the La Cava experience?
🙏🏻
I'd like to know if it can be paid with a Disney Gift card too. Being from Canada, we're already getting hit hard by the exchange rate. I'd like to at least avoid the forex fee.
Or could I just pay for it in cash? I know its a lot to carry around.
We have it booked for my son in law's birthday in January.

The best info I can find says no: https://www.disboards.com/threads/disney-gift-card-not-accepted.3387902/post-53213963

But there's nothing official on the website or their social medias.

I enjoyed this experience earlier this week. It was fantastic and much better than I anticipated. I was solo for this one and joined a couple—just three of us. Christina was an amazing host—so gracious and informative. As others have said, the amount of alcohol consumed is modest, at least before the margarita finale (which for us was a smaller version of the La Cava blood orange margarita). I attended the first seating at 10:45. The next seating at 12:45 had 12 people I think. Apparently 18 people is the maximum; that would be a very different experience from the intimate, personal experience I had.

Pro tip: if you want a chance at fewer people, select the earlier time.

This is a very special WDW memory for me, right up there for me with the VIP tour I hosted a couple years ago for friends and a couple meals at V&A.

PS. I saw some contradictory posts about whether this experience is 60 or 90 minutes. For us, it was 90 minutes and I find it hard to believe the content could be crammed into 60 minutes.

It is amazing, If you want to wait in a long line. But, it will not disappoint.

There is no line for the La Cava Experience. It’s a tasting that is offered with your own private tequila expert. It was one of my favorite extras we have ever done at Disney (and we’ve done the VIP Tour a few times) - quiet, relaxing, informative. Ours happened to be private, just my son and me, with our expert, Humberto, and it was held in La Hacienda de San Angel before it opened for business. I’d do it again in a heartbeat - no waiting required.

I was talking about the line for La Cava in general. Don't know anything about the La Cava Experience, but sounds fun. 2 weeks ago the line to La Cava was up the stairs and nearly out the door.
