La Cava De Tequila

Where is this place located?

Inside the Mexico pavilion, next to the foot of the right-hand entrance ramp into the pavilion itself (past the ante-room where they sell the wooden animals).

I'd like to say "right below Heaven" but yeah, what TDCNala said. :lmao:

OMG, that is how I feel as well! I can't wait for my vacation and I am purposely staying at BCV so I can just walk (stumble) back to my dwelling!

My DH and I decided that the EPCOT resorts are the ones for us of which the Cave was a factor in choosing.

We like EPCOT due to the more adult feel of the WS but also because staying at the EPCOT resorts, it's easier to "pace yourself" back to the resort.

Anyone know how much the margaritas cost?

Do they offer a margarita flight or sampling? I have a low tolerance but a curious palette. ;)

4 days and counting for us! We have only done the tequila flights in the past but are looking forward to trying different things over the week we are there.

on our trip there in October we stopped in twice.

First time I got that avocado margarita which was really good, but different - nice a creamy:

The second time I got a jalapeño margarita - which was excellent. I liked it even more than the avocado one ... just a hint from the jalapeños, not too hot or anything. My wife got a virgin margarita and we got an order of chips and salsa:

just a note that the salsa that came with the chips was actually pretty spicy - not nuclear or anything, but more than you would think in a themepark for the default salsa

Just an FYI, this last weekend I had the jalapeño margarita at both the cave and from my pal Justin at the AK's Victoria Falls lounge. Guess what? VF's was better. Much better and cheaper.

Thanks for posting this! I know I've had a spicy margarita at Victoria Falls but for some reason I thought it was habanero. Regardless, I agree that it's better than La Cava's jalapeño variety.

Haven't been to Victoria Falls since they refused to accept my Tables in Wonderland.

Melissa, it, may have been habenero ... It gets a bit fuzzy, you know.

Nala, they have always accepted my TIW card with no problem.

The guy obviously didn't want to try to get a manager from Jiko to approve the discount. Haven't been back. If I want to drink at AKL I do it at the small bar attached to Jiko.

There's a habanero margarita on the regular drink menu, is that the one? or is it special to VF?
