Just wanted to share something we experienced last week. First let me say this has NOTHING to do with the service or food at this CS restaurant - I had nachos and DH had the tacos and we both really enjoyed them. Having traveled to Mexico a few times DH thought they tasted very similar to what he had there.

What we did experience were some inconsiderate people. As this is a counter service restaurant, obviously there are no reservations and I realize that due to it's location and outdoor seating many people will plan to eat here and watch Illuminations (although because of the roof unless you are next to railing you would not see alot of the higher fireworks I think). Anyway, we arrived about 45 minutes before Illuminations started (not planning to watch from there) to grab a bite before calling it a night. It was very busy and I started looking for tables while DH ordered. All the tables were "full" so I just stood next to the railing by the condiment station. DH joined me and we were perfectly content to stand there and eat - but once I started looking around I saw many tables with 4 chairs and only 2 people, or a table for 2 where the guests were done with their meals (plates cleared) and were just sipping on drinks waiting for the fireworks. I'm sure I may get flamed here but I just kept thinking to myself if we were sitting at a table with 2 empty chairs and I saw people standing (DH and I weren't the only ones - there were several) I would've offered up the other seats to someone. We saw 1 table do this for a young family with 2 children - parents sat in the 2 empty chairs each with a child on their lap. Those guests in my book were incredibly gracious to do that and I guess I was just surprised that not one other person in the entire place did the same. Now there were others that walked into the restaurant and would stand over people's shoulders being obnoxious and waiting for them to leave and we did NOT do that. As I said we were fine with standing where we were but I guess I just thought more people would've offered up their empty seats??

But we did really enjoy the food and thought it was a nice place to take a break - but will be sure to go earlier next time so we can sit down! :goodvibes
