Yeah! Nearly 10 yrs have past since my last trip back so I'm super excited. My flight leaves tomorrow, and I'll be there for 2 weeks.
I lived in Burbank until age 10, and used to go back every year or two after that for visits with my family, but my last trip was right before my senior year of high school. Once I was in college, I didn't have any more chances to go out that way. However, my sister just moved back to CA last summer, and I'm not missing out this time! She's actually begging me to move out there too, although that's a whole different story.
In the plans? DL (of course!), DCA (for the first time!), AG Place, the beach, the wedding of a childhood friend I haven't seen in person since 5th grade, hopefully going to see Wicked, and a lot of winging it with an LA tourguide. ha ha. This is my first trip to LA in which I'll be on my own (my sis works as a sub during the week) so I haven't really gone around as a tourist before. This will be interesting!
