L & M Car Rental

In looking for rental cars in Orlando, I find that this company has great rates and are located inside the terminal. Has anyone used this company? What was your experience?

I've "heard" not so good things about L&M. I always use National. I've used them for every trip to WDW and never had a problem. The only way I would consider another car rental company is if the rate was WAY, WAY less than what National is offering.

We used L&M because of their great rates in 2003. We had no problems. Be sure to bring proof of insurance with you when you pick up your vehicle. I was very concerned about the company after reading many negative posts, but the rate was so good for a van I couldn't pass it up.

I have used them twice in the past two years and I have found them to be great. On the other hand, we just returned from Las Vegas, rented a car late at night from Budget and the next morning saw that the car was infested with ants. Budget would only give us a 10% discount for this. It was a real pain taking the car back, we were headed to the Grand Canyon and this delayed us for over an hour. When I say infested, I mean that I could not even sit back in the seat and had to put my luggage carryon on my lap. It was so bad that the employees were calling other employees over to look at it.

I've rented numerous times from L&M. I've never had a problem with them. The cars have always been in good condition. I always bring my insurance papers with me, sometimes they ask to see them. There is never a line at the counter when I have arrived. If their price continues to beat out the others, I will continue to rent from them.

no problems in March 2004-my kids htought it was great because there was no line, but lines at all the other car rental places
