L&M car rental

I just wanted to post an update on our L&M car rental experience.

We were VERY pleased and would consider renting again. We had no wait at the counter (other rental agencies had huge lines), we got a brand new - never rented - mini van, we had no problems with the insurance and we found a $10 off coupon on the internet that they honored.

We are glad that we gave them a chance and hope that others will have good experiences with L&M in the future!

Seems to me from reading the various posts on L&M that the bad experiences are during the peak season. Everyone renting during the off-peak season seems to have good luck.

We rented a minivan from them last May and had a great experience. There were no lines (as compared to the rental company next to them that had 20 people in line) and there was no pressure to buy their insurance (brought proof of insurance). I also had an internet coupon that they gladly accepted. The van was not brand new but was clean and we had no pprblems with it.

I'd rent from them again in an instant. Checking rates for our next trip this May and right now they're higher than some of the others. I called them and the gentleman on the phone (who was very friendly) suggested I wait a month or so as the fares should go down as it gets closer to our date.

We used L&M during our spring break vacation in Orlando and had a great experience. They were very quick and didn't try to sell us any extra garbage like some other agencies we've used in the past. I will not hesitate to use them on our next trip to Orlando.
