L and M rental??

Has anyone rent from them? I learnt about this company from mousesaves.com, and they have really good rates (usually $30 less than National weekly rate). And they've counter in the airport. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them.

I've used them several times. No problems. Helpful staff, clean cars, low prices, what's not to like?

I tried to use them this past Feb and had several problems. I had a reservation for a full size and theywanted to give me something fairly small (I cannot remember what). When I asked if that was a full size the agent said "It is this week" Further inquiry discovered that they adjust what they call the cars based on demand. (This was President's Day week so everything was booked!) I also noticed that they had one person working and you had to come back in to return your car. After a few other problems, I asked him to cancel and went to Hertz where my company had made me a reservation.

All in all, I was not pleased!

We had a poor experience with them in June. They make you go through a car inspection prior to rental, make you go to the counter BOTH at check-in and check-out, and way overestimated the amount of gas we owed them. In addition, the fees and charges were so high it would have been cheaper to go with National EA. We're back with National next month.
