L.A. Movie Star Tours

Has anyone every done the tours of movie star homes in L.A.?

I wonder if its worth the day.

Well...
Here's the deal; you drive past gated houses. You can look at the gate leading to a driveway. Some of the older stars used to live in houses on fairly regular streets so you are driven past homes where stars who are now dead used to live.

But it can be fun. I know my relatives from out of state seem to love it. They now have lots of pictures of big gates leading to stars homes.

I definitely recommend a studio tour- WB and Sony are my favorites!

Can you just do a tour on your own @ WB or Sony? Do you use a tour company? Can you recommend anyone?
