Has anyone bought this? Do they work better than Spanx products? I'm plus size and have noticed the spanx always roll down and get annoying! Was wondering if this Kymaro is any different.

I have a giant hernia going down the midline of my abdomen. I need to have surgery to fix it, which will be a major surgery since it's so big. (It's 8 inches long and 2 inches wide--three previous abdominal surgeries due to Crohn's disease.) When I stand, because it's so extensive, I have a major pooch out in the tummy area.

I've tried Spanx, Figure It (from Kohl's), something called "Better than Plastic Surgery" undergarments, you name it.

Kymora Body Shaper is the best to hold the hernia in so that I have a flatter tummy! I only wear the top, not the bottoms, and am extremely happy with the Kymora.

The garment goes up and has armholes, so it holds your shoulders back, improving posture too. I find the shaper to be extremely comfortable. It doesn't roll up on me, and can't roll down since it goes over your arms. You wear your regular bra with it, and the straps go right over the bra straps. You couldn't wear a halter type dress with it, but sleeveless works as long as your regular bra straps would be covered.

I got mine off E-bay for a pretty reasonable cost, IMO.

And I'm going to have the surgery, but not until I can find a time when I can be off work for a long time so I can heal. There's no fear of the hernia getting twisted, since the hernia is so big. It'll probably be this winter or spring before I go in for the surgery. They will basically have to rebuild my abdominal muscles under a technique called "Abdominal Wall Reconstruction, with Separation of Components." I've googled surgery pictures, and EWWWW! I've put off the surgery because the pictures scare me!
