I have seen lots of questions about Kuza Beach and Adventure Park in Cozumel. Seems to be a pretty new excursion offered by DCL. We did the Kuza VIP excursion on our recent Treasure cruise. We really enjoyed it and would return to Kuza.

It was an easy drive from the port - the bus was waiting behind the shopping area across the street. The drive was around 25 minutes. We were dropped off at the entrance to Kuza - where they were building the water park. A shuttle picked us right up and dropped us off at the beach. We had a very nice guide with us, who stayed with us on the beach the whole time. She mentioned that DCL had a hand in the building of the park - not sure if that is true or not, but they did have banners of Captain Mickey hanging around.

The VIP excursion had our own space at the beach. All drinks and food were included. You could also order a nice selection of snacks to be delivered right to your beach chair. We loved the beach we were assigned - others on our ship who didn’t do the VIP excursion didn’t like their beach as much (rocky and had ants).

Attaching a pic of the VIP beach. Happy to answer any questions.

What types of food did they have?
The snacks available for free in the VIP area were all Mexican - chips and salsa, chips and guacamole, tacos, nachos, etc. The buffet was also Mexican and was free for VIP - I saw others paying as they entered. It was also Mexican - with different types of meats for tacos, burritos, nachos. They had a salad bar, a dessert area, chicken nuggets, fish, quesadillas. Lots of choices.

The restaurant was clean. Food was good - not as good as Mexican on the Treasure.

Did you take the 8:30 or 10:30 excursion? I cannot decide which might be better. :) TIA!
8:30. And we had first choice of chairs. There are plenty of chairs for everyone, but the first excursion got the chairs with the clear view of the ocean.

I did it as well a few weeks ago. Service was awesome in VIP section. Waiter brought our drinks down to the water for us and we drank in the ocean. Never made it to the buffet as they kept on bringing us food - chips, tacos, quesadillas, and burrito's to our seats. My wife had a 20 minute massage that was $35 and she said it was as good as on the ship. Definitely take the early one as we had plenty of time and first choice of chairs on the beach. All chairs except the day beds had umbrellas the day beds had pergolas and were under trees. Beach was great and we got back with plenty of time to shop in the downtown and port area. Another couple we were talking to decided to stay later and was able to take a Taxi back to the pier. Be aware that we had a rainy early morning and the parking lot was very muddy ... to accommodate us they parked us close to the vip area and we had to walk a bridge over to our beach no cart. Someone brought a stroller and the bridge was elevated with stairs.
