Kumba v Montu

Which is better and why? Is Montu very similar to Dueling?
Also any ideas why Busch don't start a fast pass system???????

It's close but Montu by a short head,all to do with the legs hanging free! Similar to DD but in my opinion better! The only one to beat it is the Kraken & that's only because of the first drop!! I don't know why they don't FP but would hazard a guess that on average their footfall is significantly less than the other big parks. Can't wait to give Sheik ra a go!!

Kraken is also my fave so far. I think big drops is something that Florida coasters lack a bit in my opinion.

My fave is Kumba. It is SO unpredictable! Once it starts it is non-stop twists and turns. We also like that it is more difficult to see the track. With Montu, the track is overhead, so you can see what is coming up, but with Kracken, it is more of a surprise. Both are great, as is Kracken at SeaWorld. Kracken, Montu, Kumba, The Hulk and Dueling Dragons are all B&M designed coasters, which would explain why they are all fantastic, smooth coasters. Sheekra is also designed by B&M.

I prefer Kumba over the Montu myself, especially the first big drop, which is always my favorite part of coasters. Always opt for an outside seat on the Montu, I got stuck in the middle once and the coaster lost all of its effect - I couldn't see anything except other people.

I find that is a problem with the coasters that hang under the tracks. Limited visability in the middle seats! I agree, that 1st drop on Kumba is fantastic!

I am a large guy who needs to lose a lot of weight before my next visit in June. Before I managed to get in larger seat on Kraken and DD but not any more. I am yet to ride Kumba and Montu and very much looking forward to it. I have to agree about sitting in middle seat of DD cannot see much. I have about 8/9 montsh to lose as much weight as possible. Also so much hotter when you are bigger.
